During your summer vacation:
In summer, we are generally more aware than in winter of the risks associated with sun exposure. Indeed, a large part of our body is exposed to solar radiation, and the sensation of heat allows us to realize the sun's effects. However, wind, splashing water, or even a cloud cover can make us forget the dangers of the sun. Hiking, climbing, sailing, surfing, swimming, or even lying on a towel in a swimsuit is therefore not without risks for your skin! Remember that in addition to direct radiation (peaking in July in our hemisphere), there is also radiation scattered by the sky (which represents approximately 40% of the UV rays received at midday – as intense on a clear day as when there are high-altitude clouds). Finally, don't forget the reflection on water, grass, and even sand, which is not insignificant and explains why you can get sunburned even when you think you're sheltered under a parasol. Effective sun protection adapted to your activity and skin type is therefore essential to enjoy your summer vacation!
Your protection and skincare routine:
In the morning:
Regardless of your skin type, if you are taking photosensitizing medication and therefore have an increased risk of sun allergies, or if you have already been exposed to the sun the day before with insufficient protection and your skin has suffered some damage, it is best to replace your usual toiletries (beauty creams, aftershave, etc.) - which are often overly perfumed and therefore present a risk of allergies - with our A+B hyper-soothing pre- and post-sun cream. Apply this A+B cream to all areas that will be exposed.
Before any sun exposure, apply our very high protection SPF 50+ waterproof face and body lotion to all exposed areas. Reapply this sunscreen every two hours, or more frequently if you have been swimming, toweling, etc. Once the tanning process has started, you can switch to our high protection SPF 30 cream for your face.
For your lips, use our "H" very high protection lip cream with SPF 50+. Covering and opaque, it prevents dehydration and prevents recurring problems of the labial mucosa (can be applied over antiviral treatment). In less drastic conditions, you can use our invisible high protection lip balm with SPF 30, which also prevents dehydration.
In the evening:
Cleanse your face with our multi-purpose soothing lotion. It will gently remove sunscreen or particularly irritating fine pollution particles while leaving the skin soft and rehydrated. Then, if you have dry skin, apply our special regenerating cream. Extremely nourishing, it will perfect the rehydration of the skin after a day of harsh elements: sun, salt, wind, etc.
If you have oily or combination skin, use our A+B hyper-soothing cream. With its soft and creamy texture, it soothes, hydrates, and repairs your skin daily. For your body, apply our soothing after-sun lotion to hydrate and soothe your skin after the shower.
